Career
An acknowledged leader within the nuclear industry integrating management, business, technical, and leadership skills in developing business and technical strategies for clients and continuous industry improvement.

Formerly employed by Exelon/Commonwealth Edison, Automated Engineering Services Corp (AES), and Amec Foster Wheeler (FW). Retired executive from Amec FW, March 2016. Currently, the Owner of Eggett Consulting LLC; a Management Associate with SPEQ LLC (MBE and DBE); and Chair of the ANS Standards Board.

Has held senior level management positions on the Owners side (utility) and on the A-E/consultancy side focused on building client relationships and business partnerships; integrating business and management initiatives with industry and utility goals; ensuring compliance with operational, environmental, and business regulations; improving/sustaining operational excellence; and establishing company strategic initiatives for long-term plant operation.

Brings experience in engineering design, licensing, system engineering, operations/maintenance, regulatory compliance, project management, consultancy and advisory roles. Was certified as a SRO both on a BWR and PWR. Has been a stakeholder in establishing US industry policy and direction on the safe operation and environmental aspects of nuclear plants throughout his career.

Personal
I have many interests including family, friends, reading, restaurants, and all sports, many of which I do play and play well. Golf is my favorite during the warm summer months. I also love to travel with my wife both domestic and international having been to a majority of the European countries over the past 20 years; and have an interest in old classic cars both driving and working on them. We have two sons with degrees in Networking/ Computer Science and Political Science/Law. And have two grandsons and one granddaughter, all of whom we just adore. Finally, we love our pet Barney, a black and white Shih Tzu, who is 9 yrs old and recovering from a torn ACL.
